Great experience. I've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I particularly liked the kebabs. These are some negative points though: • Service is slightly slow. But not to the extent that you'll want to get up and leave. • Some dishes are often not available. This is probably because they are possibly understaffed. With the number of Awadhi food serving cuisines growing at a massive scale in the City of Joy, the brand Naushiijaan after spreading a lot of smiles in their Kasba outlet has come up with it's new outlet at Jadavpur. Located near 8B Bus Terminus, this place has got the classy touch and royal elegance of the Mughal era! First things first, they were the first in Kolkata to bring the authentic Lucknowi Galawti Kebabs! The quirky name that this place adorns is completely in sync with the interiors & the Nawabi menu of this place! Wonderfully decorated with antique wall paintings, cutlery, furnitures, dim chic lights, Naushiijaan yet again left me awestruck on my first visit at Jadavpur. Glinting and eye squinting mirror with a touch of velvet is what their private dining area comprises of which looks like a cozy and comfortable cabana section from the outside. It is a 12 seater area where one can set up family get-togethers, kitty parties or corporate lunch/dinner sessions. With soft music being played in the background and the fantastic decor, this is yet another place to deliciously plunge ourselves into.

Best food and ambience. Biriyani is fabulous here. Can be little slow sometimes to serve, but the atmosphere makes it worthy to spend that time here.

Visited for a kebab dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The interviews is cozy and decorated well according to the theme. Especially loved the shamiana style private dining space. Tried the Jugalbandi kebab and it was cooked to perfection. Delicate pinwheel of chicken rolled with motton mince. The balance of flavours was excellent. Tried the paneer gulnaar, the kebab was a root of flavour and not like any other paneer tikka. It had layering of chili and sweet cherry filling and was topped with coconut The kalimirch fish tikka was tender and really well cooked. Overall a great meal with very hospitable service staff.
