This Bengali restaurant is located at Lake Market, just opposite to Prema Vilas and it is one of my favourites when it comes to authentic Bengali cuisine. Usually, me and my mother go there during the afternoon to have meals. The quality and the quantity both are awesome, every time. If you go there, do not miss the following : Kolkata Fish Fry, Chicken Meal, Mutton meal and the varieties of fish curry that they serve. Any thali will come with good quality white rice, daal, jhuri alu bhaja, veg of the day, chutney and your choice of fish/meat/egg. The rice, veg curry, daal, alu bhaja and chutney will have unlimited servings. An egg thali would cost you 120 INR which will have 2 eggs. Chicken meal comes at 300 INR while Mutton meal would come at 350 INR. Often, they would have a good collection of desserts and mishti. Do try them. The owner is an old lady who take care of each table personally and the people who serves the food are too good at their work.

Boring place you wont even find crowd they take millenials to prepare your food. The shop isnt cool enough for you to sit comfortably. Alert!! For females. Guy will keep staring at you beware
I really enjoyed eating banana leaves at the restaurant. So we all went to eat second time. Everyone will eat. Hop you like it.
This is a good bengali restaurant where you can find some bengali good food and it is situated in the core point of Kalighat metro area. Restaurant is not so big so you have to wait outside if it is crowded. The quality and taste of foods were awesome, but they take too time to serve the food, that is the only drawback of this restaurant.

One of the best restaurant for authentic bangali food. Price very reasonable. Go for it and try mutton thali once. You will love it. ️
