The personnel handling the food, directly puts his hands in the food without wearing gloves. Moreover, they store the side dishes in their fridge for God knows how long. The dish smelled and tasted off and no surprise by the next day, all of us suffered from food poisoning. Let this place be your last resort in case of hunger pangs. Even boiling maggi might be a better option.

Small but nice place to have biryani made in Kolkata style. The ambience is not stylish, but good. Both biryani taste and the restaurant make over takes one to the City of Joy. Posters of man pulled rickshaw and Ambassador cabs along with a big piece of potato and boiled egg in biryani spreads the nostalgia of Kolkata, if you are at all from there. The taste of the food is good and the quantity is more than required. Price-wise very competitive. They also have a Kolkata food home delivery provision. Overall nice and feel good. Recommended to visit once, if you are a fan of Kolkata biryani.
I must say the taste of Kolkata biryani is actual taste of Kolkata, you may enjoy the wonderful taste here in.. Reasonable price. The biryani contains Aaloo, eggs and chicken/mutton.
Mutton biriyani is more tasty and delicious than chicken biriyani and if you are a hardcore non vegetarian then you must go for mutton biriyani only
Couple of times ordered Biryani and Chicken Kosha from this shop. Recently 2 times Ordered Mutton Biryani and Chicken Kosha and unfortunately both the times I found small cockroach in Biryani and Gravy. First time I ignored, maybe something went went. when I found same second time I decided to visit to the shop located opposite of SuperMart 1. And What I found is quite surprising and will never order for sure from this place again. It’s a small unhygienic shop, cockroaches and rats are everywhere. Inside the micro-oven which they use is full of cockroaches so it’s quiet obvious that I found those in my food. Please don’t order from this shop. It’s not hygienic at all, pls visit the shop if you want to experience it by yourself.
