It’s Saturday night after a belting day in Aberdeen. Had a good skate round Aberdeen (I’m from Stonehaven) but duno if I’m welsh actually then came in for some scran. Pad to the Thai came thru and blew my famous grouse socks off. Me and my friend felt instantly at home, just part of the family. Ok to the drinks, lime soda cordial, ratios on point. Great service , friendly smiles good times. Come here but prepare yourself for one rocking time Ps prawn crackers are 0.00001 % prawns, I leant this from the friendly waiter :D
Just to say this hidden gem of delicious authentic Thai food is in Rosemount Aberdeen. Staff were lovely and nothing was any trouble. Will definitely be back, thank you for lunch today
Tried Koi Thai out for the first time at the weekend - and what an experience it was. The new restaurant not only looks fantastic, but the food was phenomenal. So much flavour in every single dish. We enjoyed two starters a the sweet corn fritters and the dim sum which was fabulous. The sauce with the beef stir fry main was to die for and my sweet and sour prawns were just heavenly. A must try if you love Thai food. The interiors are also very lovely and finish the experience off beautifully.
Wow! Best Thai I've had in Aberdeen, the staff were super friendly and the food delivered early, and every family member loved their dish (unusual for our fusspots!) The chicken paenang tasty with just the right amount of heat, and the Moo Ping skewers disappeared quickly. Definitely one to recommend, we will be back! :)
