We went for a sunday roast on a lovely sunny day. Restaurant is at a walkable distance from our place which adds to the whole experience. We were offered a nice table upstairs which was bright and sunny. For the starters we ordered cauliflower wings and nut roast for mains. We finished the lunch with a nice lemon tart dessert. The quality of food was awesome not too greasy, quantities were good as well. Especially loved the lemon tart with honey comb and raspberry sorbet which was fresh and refreshing. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel warm and welcomed. Would definitely go back here sometime to try the dinner menu.

Very nice venue, good choice of music and a solid coffee. The only issue I have is the place was empty and I still had to get up to ask for my bill. You need a system where people can order from the table and hail waiters when they need one. I recently ate at a Robinson's pub that had a table pager system in place. Worked very efficiently and kept people at their tables.
6 of us enjoyed a fabulous meal here for our sons 21st on the 28th September. The food was delicious, as a vegan I usually find it really difficult to find something to eat but not here, the cocktails were fab too! What really made the night for us though was the service provided by the 3 members of staff were who working, I WISH we had got their names and I'm really sorry that we didn't but they were just fantastic, so friendly and helpful and even though is was busy nothing felt rushed. Visit - you won't be disappointed, we'll definitely be back soon!
Food was very nice and staff attentive. The tables were a little too close together. My family was seated very close (had to squeeze to sit down) to another and we had hoped that the table next to us would remain open for social distancing as we were already a little too cramped for our liking. They did seat patrons next to us and we considered leaving as it really was too close however had already ordered our food. There definitely wasn’t even a meter between our tables.
Lovely location and friendly staff at this Knutsford location of The Botanist. The duck leg I had was super delicious and succulent, really fell if the bone, but the plate could use some decorate greenery. The same for the falafel burger. Maybe I’m a bit picky here but a side of greens or bits of veggies has never hurt anyone. That said: 5/5 beer/ale menu 5/5 tasty food 3/5 decoration of food 5/5 friendly staff 4/5 waiting time Combined 4.4
