This is amazing place to go for a walk, or go to grab a coffee, perfect for dog walking. Disability access and pram access. Great to see the dear in the park you can walk close to them but advised not to go too close as they are wild animals. Cafe and WC on site only issues it’s 7 entrance fee or 3.50 with a blue badge. Not bad compared to some places and at least you don’t need to book before you arrive.

Lovley park to visit. Free for Natural Trust or approx 8 per adult per attraction. Parking is ran by the local council and is 7 for the whole day (payable on entry). The park is vast. The house is lovely to walk around, like most NT properties. The gem is the garden - especially the Japanese garden which is so real it brought back memories of high end gardens in Japan. Lovely day out.

Went on a cold and windy day and was nice to get out. Wonderful to see stags out by the lake. Cars entering from Knutsford side can be quite aggressive on the road which diminished the experience and with it being muddy it was preferable to walk on the road. Walked all the way up the the house and had a cream tea in the Garden Rooms at the far side of the courtyard. They had good gluten free cake options which was appreciated for my partner and I swapped out the tea for a more festive mulled wine. Overall, recommend the trip but at 7 car parking consider parking in Knutsford and walking in if you have the legs for it.

Icy (and slush on ice) under foot! Why haven't they gritted on the car park and main footpaths around the buildings? It's the least they could do!Pleasant, sunny (but cold) day nevertheless - nice for a walk around.

The gardens which is timed entry and ticketed was really good and with the trail for kids to follow was great. Expect queues with social distancing at weekends but still worth going as soon get through them. Even in winter the gardens are great and a lovely setting to walk around. The rest of the site in the open park areas and kids park was packed out but off the main routes is much quieter.
