This is a hidden Gem!! We normally go the white lion but thought we would try the red lion and it was amazing the service, food and staff was brilliant so friendly and polite. Talking to the young girl who had worked there since she was 16 was particularly welcoming and so friendly we chatted for ages. To say we will be back its an understatement. Highly recommend and the chips with the beef and ale pie was out of this world.

Rocked up at the Lion for something to eat earlier today after the vw show at tatton.. staff were all spot on and great choice on the menu... Will definitely be back
Lovely girl showed great hosting skills, allowed us to move a table to shaded area and even further away from others. Great place with lovely outdoors! Kids meals could be a bit better, no salad at all, our as well, but we went there to enjoy the afternoon rather than a meal itself and our goal was accomplished!
Delicious fish and chips and managed to fit five hungry cyclists in without a booking
