Just moved to York Autumn 2020 and asked friends who was their favourite butcher! All said Knavesmire. Got our Christmas turkey there and it was absolutely delicious! Brilliant service and high quality produce.
The meat (sausages especially) is top quality, full of flavour and really good value for money. And the pies are quite possibly the nicest pies I've ever eaten. They should really be award winning. If you're ever in the area (York races for eg) you must try them!
