It was closed in November 2020 when we visited due to Covid 19 lockdown / restrictions. Normally we love a little time in a boat on the Nidd. There where no signs up with opening and closing dates or times under more normal (none covid) times.

Me and my husband rented a boat for a hour. The price was 14, which is quite decent. It was our first experience such as this. The staff didn't provide us with any information. It would be useful to give customers some advice as there were quite few people struggling. The boat was quite old, it wasn't cleaned before we took over, the paddles didn't have like a wire or a circle around to help us, we weren't offered a vest. The place was really busy and people were just banging around each other's boats.
