Been many years since we last shopped at Huttons and they still do the best pork pies we can find

I bought beef rib, Toulouse sausage and a pork pie. All were excellent. The beef was well aged, almost black on the outside and its raw aroma was outstanding. Worth the drive from Leeds any day. Nine five star reviews but only a 4.6 score???

I've been coming to Huttons for over 20 years. They were recommended to us when we lived in York and we have continued to come and buy from them at least monthly now we live in Ripon. The quality of the meat and game they sell has remained consistently top notch throughout that time. The variety they offer is fantastic, including goat and goose, as well as seasonal game. Their home made sausages are delicious and they even do gluten free ones. Their knowledge of their meat and its sources is reassuring, their service friendly and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough ; there are other good butchers around this area but in my opinion Huttons are the best.

Best butchers in the yorkshire area! We travel from york when we can to come here and never had a bad experience. Every year the Xmas turkey has been amazing aswell. Quality meat and quality service

I can't stop laughing at the 1 star review. Dirty floors! PMSL. Her review was 7 months ago which puts her in the shop in winter. Of course the floor was dirty, it's not someone's bloody front room. Carcass hanging from shop. It's a butchers love and the it certainly won't have been dripping with blood from a health and safety and food standards point of view. I suspect this veggie better jog on. Anyway rant over. I always pop in here when I'm in the area. The lads are always friendly and their prices are competitive compared to the supermarket. Too much salt in the meat pie for my liking though.
