Went for a mid-winter walk and it was beautiful. Paths were sanded and cleared of snow. Lots of families were enjoying themselves. Everything is well marked. It's also in a picturesque park of Kitchener close to downtown. A must-visit if you're in the mood for an outdoor activity.

Beautiful park for walks and runs. Lots of bridges and nice views. I was here in the winter and it was great, I imagine it's even better in the summer.
My top #1 favourite go-to park in ALL of Waterloo region. Walking paths are always clear in the winter, making family outings much more enjoyable. Of course the summer brings many festivals here, and it's easy to enjoy without feeling crowded. Can't forget finding the fun painted rocks here too. Scenic waterways, waterfowl (ducks, geese, swans, etc), and occasionally a spectacular sunset, there is always something to look forward to when visiting.
Such a nice park! Our baby was born in Kitchener late September and we did several walks with her during October fall colors in this park: so peaceful and always clean! there is also a playground for children that was open and with people respecting social distance.
It is a great park for a winter walk. The ducks and geese at the Sturm Basin are fun to watch!
