Gorgeous and hip hotel in downtown Kitchener. Easy access to many amenities. The rooms are decent sized and furnished beautifully. Employees are super helpful and always friendly. The decor and atmosphere is very well designed which makes for great photos in the lobby and 2nd floor.

If you are looking for a venue to host an event, The Walper Hotel offers top notch service, a beautiful venue and amazing food. We have been planning our wedding (that had to get rescheduled last year) with the Walper staff for over a year now and they have been incredibly flexible and accommodating. Their staff have gone above and beyond to make things as stress free as possible. Special shout out to Andréa and the events team! I would highly recommend hosting an event here!

The Walper is an absolutely beautiful place, centrally located in Downtown Kitchener. From the moment you walk in you'll be blown away by how stunning the design and decor is, the Lokal bar on the second floor being my personal favourite. The rooms are so unique, and I love the little touches, like the local coffee and soaps in each room. The staff are extremely helpful and have always felt a lot more like family than they do the staff of the hotel. I've planned and attended lots of weddings in this amazing place, organized two fundraisers, even held our baby shower here. Our guests loved it, and we love working here, and I always look forward to coming back!

Can I give this hotel 6 stars? From Check- In to the little details in the room ... just a perfect relaxing stay. (And Amy Winehouse, Louis Armstrong and the Beatles on Vinyl!) it’s like they knew I was coming :)

A beautiful experience. We got the Valentine's package with room service. Hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and charming, and the meal was fantastic!! They even added some cute little romantic touches to make it extra special! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was rented for a movie I was working on and we had the pleasure of working and staying in the hotel for over a week. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and my room was perfect. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and it really felt like a home away from home. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. I was sad to leave and want to thank you for making us all feel so comfortable.

The Walper Hotel is the perfect wedding venue. The staff, the venue, the location everything is perfect! Couples and their guests always rave about how amazing their wedding team is! Not to mention this venue is a photographer's dream! If you are planning a wedding big or small don't miss out on this gem run, don't walk to the phone to connect with the amazing team there!

What an absolutely wonderful hotel. It was a perfect little Covid getaway. Beautiful interior design, incredibly clean, great layout. A plus was having the in-house restaurant, which was accessible from our floor through one of the elevators in the hotel. Common areas were great/ design centric. Looking forward to returning!
