In 2016 Emilie Scissons recognized a need for a more gentle hair removal process, for people with sensitive skin. Knowing first hand how aggravated sensitive skin can become when undergoing more conventional hair removal techniques, Emilie embarked on a journey of finding a better way. She quickly learned that there are many other people who also wanted the same thing. As a result, she realized that there was a need in her community to service people with sensitive skin. After extensive research, she decided to settle on sugaring as the preferred method for herself. However she also decided that she could service her community with sugaring services as well. By December of 2016 Emilie's new company, Sugar Savvy, was established with a brand new location in the Belmont Village area of Kitchener, Ontario. Emilie is now a certified Sugarist and she has spent many sessions perfecting the art of body sugaring. Her company provides hair removal through the art of body sugaring, eyelash extensions and lifts, and St.Tropez organic custom airbrushed spray tans. Sugar Savvy's commitment to excellence is seen through their high standards, and that they only use the best quality products. Customers can enjoy a clean, relaxed environment. Sugar Savvy staff also regularly attend educational courses to keep current with the beauty industry.
