Regular thai restaurant. I hate thai but my gf compelled me to go there. I ordered calamari rings and Malaysian fried rice. Wasn't the best but not bad.

Visited Mango King tonight with my wife and Chinese friends. Although a little out-of-the-way, at the bottom of Homer Watson @ 401, across from Conestoga College, it was well worth the trip. Arriving at 5:30/-, almost 1/2 the restaurant was full. A very pleasant waitress was quickly at the table asking for our drink &/or appetizer orders. After my wife ordered her white wine I left my host to do the food ordering as he is quite knowledgeable in these matter and was able to converse in Chinese. Regretfully, for our stomachs, Chinese have a habit of "over ordering" as the do so "over serving" their guests. First to arrive were, California Lettuce Wrap w/minced chicken, carrot & a light seasoning w/A side of Hoisin Sauce - light & satisfying appetizer, Crispy Spring Rolls which were very tasty. Then a Crab Meat Fish Maw Soup (a little to thick to my wife & my liking, but good & satisfying), then beautifully battered (almost Tempura-like) Squid Rings & a slightly less battered Deep Fried Chicken Wings, Curried Pad Thai & a truly superb Pad Thai (House Specialty, well suggest &, in my opinion, the BEST IN ONTARIO!). All this and Deep-Fried Banana (Tempura-like batter but slightly thicker) w/Vanilla Ice Cream... Perfect. I would declare the price but, as already mentioned, we were the guest. But, if I were to guess, it might be in the 80-100 range but, were it in a higher priced location, probably in the 100's. Truly a memorable & very satisfying feast. Thanks again to her very gracious host.
Hidden gem in Kitchener. You will find your favourite Asian dishes here. I only visit during lunch times and every time I walk away satisfied. Reasonable price for the portion. Convenient location. Plenty of parkings.
My 2nd time here. The place is always pretty clean. with the weather outside, the place really needs to consider change the temperature inside. The service is good. The food is wonderful both times I went it was so good! Defiantly going to be back again!
I have been going to Egg Roll King since I was in middle school next door at Courtland Avenue. It is family run and I think that’s part of what makes it great. You feel really at home here. The main owner is also cheery and goes above and beyond. He will always ensure you receive the best quality. I can’t believe I’ve even seen any negative reviews. Despite the restaurant being smaller and having limited parking because of area, their food is always hot and fresh - never greasy. I specifically drive from out of town for this reason. To add, they have really great prices. I highly recommend the Chicken Ball, their fried rice’s and their bubble tea. Cheers to 11 years of service. ️
Me and my husband called last night which was January 1st when they were 5min away from closing because we had just gotten back from a trip. They still took our order and delivered for us with great service, you can see they were happy to do so. We always order from them and we always have good service and the food is always fresh with great flavours. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
Impressive. Great service. Staff were nice and friendly. Nice presentation, superb taste, huge portion, and just the right price. Restaurant and washroom were kept clean and well maintained. Will definitely go back we are in town. Just right across Conestaga and near the 401 exit.
Good food at a decent price. 3.5 stars really, but I round up. Only drawback is that you might start to notice the food's a bit same-y if you go there a lot and like to try different things. Still, not much of a drawback if you like it (and I don't know why you wouldn't).
