Lakeside park is a beautiful little park in Kitchener, Ontario. The main point of interest is a small kettle lake, formed by glaciers. In the spring time the lake is a stopping place for migrating birds. There is a playground and a small parking lot at the Lakeside Drive.

The woods surrounding the lake are such a treat to walk through on the winter. It's not very busy, yet it's still well-traveled. There's also an ice rink now in the middle of the lake now and it looks very inviting.
Nice place for a leisurely stroll. Feels like a country side yet you're on the middle of the city.
Loved it! Made it a few laps around the ice before the cops showed up and started kicking people off. I would definitely go back!
In winter very peaceful. Nice trail to walk there. Grateful there is a bench to sit on and meditate . An ancient willow tree still stands at entrance. Can't understand why it's mate had to be cut down.
