Dined at this restaurant yesterday after my eye doctor appointment. It was my first time going here after over a year since the pandemic started but that wasn’t the reason why I stopped going. A while back, I ordered a delivery from here and my parents and I ended up getting food poisoning. I know things happen and no restaurant is perfect so I thought I would explain my reasoning for giving only a four-star review. But with all that being said, I decided to give this Jack Astor’s location (which is my local restaurant of the chain) a second chance at redemption and very much enjoyed my meal! The restaurant was VERY clean and my waitress was very nice and attentive as well.

I had a great experience at Jack Astor's. At the time of this review they are able to table 50 people. I walked in alone at approximately 7:00 on a Saturday evening, I was the 49th customer inside. I sat in the bar area and was fortunate enough to have Cassey serving me. The restaurant feels comfortable at this capacity, not crowded, but not so quiet that it's uncomfortable. The food was delicious. By far the best part of the experience was Cassey. She's exceptional at her job and delightful to deal with. She suggested a fantastic drink, the gummy bear margarita, I was never rushed. It felt great to sit and relax in a restaurant again.
Excellent! And this hasn't been the case! Happy y'all got it together. Issue w/my order and delivery service. Everyone worked together real fast to fix things and even compliment a couple things for the mixup. Manager was awesome! Food presentation was great and packaged very well, instructions all followed, and food tasted SPECTACULAR! Nothing was missed. Totally has rectified my opinion!! Keep up the great work!!
Probably the best joint in town!! Could eat the chicken fingers for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! Take a trip over there whenever I can, their staff has a great vibe and the food is unmatched. Manager even comes by to make sure the experience is everything you want and cares about your opinion. Highly recommend everyone takes a trip over, you will not be disappointed! 10/10 easily my favorite place in town!!
Absolutely LOVE this joint. From the staff to the food I never leave disappointed and continue to go back regularly. The restaurant manager checked in on our meals and ensured that we received the best service possible. I have been to a number of "fancier" spots in the area and non come close to the experience I have at this Jacks. Thank you guys for doing your thing, see you again soon!!
Love this place. Chill atmosphere and great service. Never had an issue before. And during the summer their outdoor seating area is really beautiful (that’s where the salad pic was taken).
Sat on the patio and enjoyed my first draft beer in 5 months. Didn't have my beer of choice but absolutely understand. Server was a funny guy too!
We always have great meals at Jack Astors. In particular the Kitchener location but also the other locations we have visited. The management staff is very professional, service is outstanding and the cleanliness of the restaurant is top notch. I'm pleased that they were able to remain open through these difficult pandemic times and I look forward to our usual large family gatherings in the future. Keep up the great work!
