- Great bedside manner - Great surgeon - Great recovery - Great follow up Unfortunately covid has complicated everything so the wait time is much longer if not an emergency. Not his fault, though some will blame him anyways. If it's orthopedic related, he's the man for the job. Waiting for my next surgery, and I have no hesitation at all. Thanks Dr. Hupel! :)

I was injured in a car accident on a Friday in June and I received emergency care at Grand River Hospital that day. On the next day (Saturday) Dr. Hupel called to book my wrist for surgery on Monday. My surgery (a plate and 5 screws) was a complete success. The follow up care by Dr. Hupel and the Grand River Fracture Clinic team was excellent. We are fortunate to have Dr. Hupel and the Fracture Clinic in the Region of Waterloo.
Wonderful man with a wonderful soul & the best darn Dr. on this planet...there are not enough kind words to describe him, he deserves 10 stars not 5... I want to Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Hupel I cannot thank you enough... Eternally grateful!
He was amazing with my 9 year old daughter. He fought to get ger the best treatment. Thank you. If it wasnt for him shed still be in alot of pain.
I went to Office to check on why my son hadn t received and call on when he would be schedualed for surgery. After getting no viable answers from Dr Hupels receptionist I made it clear that wasn't accepting her answers to our conversation. After being asked to leave numerous times in the last sentenced she had revealed that the first fax from my doctor hadn t gone through and that 5 weeks later last week..they received it. I have every reason to be upset with this information that was withheld by her right up to the last minute. I had to pull the concealed information out of her. Now I understand. I will be in contact with them tomorrow. Jan. 17 2907. Vic Judar
