Using local ATMs is one of the cheapest way to exchange money. Generally speaking, ATMs charge the spot rate plus about 2.5% -3.5%. This extra charge is known as a foreign transaction fee and can’t be avoided (check with your debit card provider for the exact fee). Your home bank and the specific machine you’re using may also charge you a one-time fee of up to 5 so that’s something to consider with your overall costs. The best way to exchange money while minimizing costs is to simply withdraw your daily limit or use an ATM that’s a partner with your bank.

Very impressed with their customer service. Best thing is they do price match also , in case your bank is offering you a good rate for a currency exchange, they will beat that price.

Polite staff, quick transaction but ask what exchange rate is before they process it! While standing in line I saw the rate for what I wanted to exchange on a board in store.I had a VIP card from my travel agent to ensure I got the best rate possible. I didn't think anything of it until I got home and looked at my receipt and the price I paid was 8cents more than what was posted in the kiosk and 4 cents more than what I saw online when I got home a checked a couple hours later. I know the rate fluctuates but I was expecting to get the rate I saw on the board while standing in line and considering I had a card to get me the lowest possible rate I was shocked when I got home to see what I actually paid. Nothing I can do now as all transactions are final but I can warn others to ask what the rate is before the transaction is completed. Lesson learned.
