Everyone at Oak Hill was very respectful of our wishes. They worked with us to make sure everything was as we wanted. The staff went above and beyond to help us in every step of the process. I never felt rushed, everything was explained fully and no surprises down the road. I would recommend Oak Hill to anyone facing the loss of a loved one.

My family was very pleased with the caring professional people that helped manage our parents burial at Oak Hill. They have really gone over and above to help us care for and maintain the memorial. Thank you.

Oak Hill was very helpful as we needed a concrete foundation under our parents grave marker, and they kept in touch to see if we needed anything. Very caring folks

If it's a star rating, then I will give it a one. The one is for the staff being friendly. I have several family members there, but this yesterday was the first time I've been in the chapel for a service. The good part was that the staff was friendly and the chapel itself is beautiful inside. I noticed wall spaces for cremains. The spaces had a glass window with the urn inside. I got a small glimpse of the person's life. Some had photos in the spaces(sections), some had inspirational plaques. One had a some dolphins and other items which indicated the person loved water. That was very interesting and I told my husband I'd think about doing something like that because my plans are cremation. Now the negative part...the place was was infested with bugs, gnats possibly. Dead bugs were in the spaces where the cremains were. Dead bugs were all over the floors and the seats. It was obvious the place needed to be sprayed and cleaned. Live bugs were flying all over the place. People were constantly waving and fanning the bugs from their faces. Bugs were flying around my sister. One staff member waved bugs away from my sister's face as they closed the coffin. What a horrible experience for a family saying their last goodbyes. How do you make this right? The family cannot have another service, but you can give an apology and a reimbursement, as you should. That was absolutely awful.
