Delicious food (roasts and normal menu), delicious beer and staff are always really friendly. Dog friendly outside and downstairs in the pub, and the staff give the dogs attention too which is always a bonus. They’ve put a lot of effort into being safe during the pandemic. I’ve visited around 5 times since reopening, both inside and out, and have been impressed by the measures in place which staff always consistently enforce.

It was good for a weekday lunch with colleagues outside. A shame they didn't do hot drinks outside.
Another great trip to our new favourite local. Service here always informal and very friendly. A few pints of Stowford press for the lady while I had a session beer to begin followed by Kirkstall pale. After enjoying the relaxed atmosphere we decided to fill up on hog baps and roasties. Sandwiches were great, a bit of crackling in the bap wouldn't have gone amiss but no complaints - apple sauce was tasty however serving size v moderate - only downside was the roast potatoes. Same texture throughout and missing that initial crunch. Will return soon and thanks to the staff for their consistent friendly service.
Great beers kept well, good food and great staff. In short this is how you run a proper pub.
Great pub, staff so friendly. Been there so many times, foods are great & very reasonable price. Unfortunately my fone are low in battery, so no pictures of foods we ate today . Totally recommend if you're in Leeds, should visit.
