Fantastic bar/restaurant. Really good food and prices are reasonable. Staff are all lovely and so helpful. Extra precautions in place now include, track amd trace information gathered, temperature taken apon arrival, plenty of hand sanitisation stations, one way system in place and face masks worn by staff and all customers until seated. Areas cleaned as soon as customers leave and was witnessed through out our time there. Loads of in-house events ormally\ in place to entertain the punters. Great wee 5 star place. Disabled accessible toilet, mostly flat throughout (except the odd tiny difference in leaving other toilets and arriving, just small steps, change in floor heights nothing too much unless terrain differences effect balance) wheelchair accessible throughout. Car park area within grounds of bar.

Went to the Kirkhouse today for the first time in almost 5 months. It was a great experience from start to finish. Temperature taken on arrival then name address and phone number. This might annoy certain people but to me it was very reassuring and we felt well looked after. Well done

Excellent family venue. Staff couldn't have been more attentive. Food was even better than before. Would definitely recommend it. Well done guys!!

Really disappointed. Had finished work and was looking forward to an impromptu bite to eat with my partner. Called ahead to check reservation. Upon arriving at the door I was asked if I had a mask. Explained we were there to eat, didn't have one and was refused entry. The table was four steps from the door but you can't walk to the table without a mask. You can remove your mask when you are at your table. The futility of this doesn't appear to have sunk in with the staff. I even suggested they gave me one if they felt they were absolutely necessary but they didn't oblige. Not for me. Won't be back. Avoid.

Even though they didn't have anything for vegans on my last visit,which was understandable, I still really like this place.
