Just walked almost a mile to collect after finding out they don't do delivery on Fridays. No customers and nobody on the till or cooking, so I rang bell. Friendly service, but wouldn't do plaice for me at 8:25pm (closing at 9pm) because it 'takes half an hour' and, after I arrived home, I opened the paper to find soggy fish with no crispy batter and stale disgusting chips. Had to throw this straight in the bin. The man behind the till knew what he was selling me. Unacceptable.

They really make the effort, they are passionate about being good and they are just really nice people. Fresh cooked and the chips are that right balance of soft with a bit of crunch outside. Easy to do chips, difficult to do excellence they are up there

Astonishingly good fish and chips, cooked fresh to order in super crisp homemade batter with delicious tartare. The best I have had since moving to Sydenham 14 years ago.
