Great food and terrific service. Patricia knocked it out of the ball park. Already looking forward to my next dinner party here.

Once again, a great show! This place always has good food, good bands, very fair prices on drinks and the crowd usually consists of some fine Women.

This is a great music venue. I really like how they let you get some air outside between bands. I am really writing this review to commend the security on how excellent they are at keeping the place safe. We attended the Evergreen Terrace show and as any hardcore show attendee knows there’s always those people in the pit that want to start fights or hurt people that aren’t actually in the pit. Each of these people were removed quickly from the venue and the place remained a great and safe atmosphere. Give this security staff a raise. They know what they are doing!

I have no idea how long this bar has been hosting metal shows, but I'm glad I discovered it this year. If you've read any of my previous reviews, you know that I've been going to metal shows on a fairly regular basis for over a decade now. Due to that, I've been to a great number of venues all over the city. In that time I've seen beloved venues come and go, but it's still surprising when I find a new place I've never been to. Over the last few months I've been here around three times, but it was a bit of a hassle to get here the first time. I looked up directions on google maps and just went from there. Honestly, this place is pretty far from most public transportation. I've previously gotten here with the use of multiple trains and a bus line at a separate time, but you're still required to walk quite a bit prior to arriving here. From the bus it took around 10-12 minutes of walking to get here and from the train, it took around 20 minutes or more. If it's possible, I'd say take a cab/ride service or get a ride from a friend. In regards to the venue itself, it's great. The concert space is pretty small, but it's not uncomfortably small. Seeing as how this place is a bar and grill, there are patrons eating and drinking as the show is ongoing. This was a bit of a nuisance for me because that area of the bar can get pretty cramped and it's a hassle to get through, especially when the bands playing a show have their merch tables set up. I realize there's no real alternative and it's not a huge problem, but it can still be problematic when there's a lot of people and you're trying to get in or out. Overall, it's a great place to come to experience metal bands in person and I'll keep coming as long as they keep hosting great yet affordable shows. Like I previously mentioned, I've been to this venue two or three times since September. That alone should let you know what I think of it.

Live music club was nicely Air Conditioned on a hot NYC night. I decided to get a Burger and Fries between bands and I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty decent tasting and good sized. It came with fries for only 10. There we're no tables in there, so I had to eat at the bar which was actually fine. They also had an actual brick oven for making pizza. The bar area is separated from the Music Area by a door which made it a little quieter but the door still had a small window in it so I could tell when the next band came on. I didn't expect the place to be as decent as it was looking at it from the outside. I would have taken some better pictures of I knew I was going to be posting a review.
