Lidstone Library

Went to visit a friend at a pop up craft shop and loved the little quaint shops and hand made items. There wasn't much of a garden centre but it is winter so I wouldn't expect many plants but the farm shop was well stocked and lots of variety and choice. Was going to stop in the cafe but my little girl was super fussy so didn't stop but the cakes looked delicious. Will have to try and go back soon and try them!

Well maintained with fresh locally grown or raised fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, bakery products at reasonable prices. They also have a cafe on site. We walked from Start Bay Caravan and Motorhome Club site which is next door.

We stumbled across this place on a busy Sunday lunchtime, we had walked a long way but just wanted a pot of tea, we were made very welcome, the table next to us were rude and impatient and the staff continued to be polite and extremely courteous to everyone. This morning we went back for breakfast, equally as impressed. Staff were happy and helpful. If we are back this way it us certainly a place to return.

Had fantastic Sunday roast yesterday. Staff were very, busy and service a tad slow at times, but fully appreciate that the staff were all getting to grips with newly opening and safety set up etc. Our reservation had somehow gone arigh, but not to worry as we accommodated, and looked after superbly. Sunday lunch was awesome
