Popped in here for a quick drink before we went for dinner. Well, I wish they had more pubs like this. Just a quaint, proper old style pub! They had pictures of their regulars up on the wall, nice selection of alcohol. Some may think the decor might be old... but to a joiner/builder (my partner who I was with) well he gets paid thousands for modern pubs to make a bar and benches to look like that. The owners were so lovely and welcoming too! Could tell it is a tight knit community that live around there, and nothing would be too much bother. Well worth a visit for a drink and a sausage butty!
Was lucky enough to have this pub a short walk from our friends house where we were staying, so so friendly, staff are fantastic and the locals are too. We were totally made to feel at home from the moment we walked in and can’t wait to be back.
