Really popular small pub. Relatively limited range of beers e.g. only one cask when we visited. Good wines. Very good customer service. Popular Sunday lunches. Well worth a visit. Rear walled garden with may heaters.

The food here was outstanding and the staff were so accommodating of our 15 person party including children & babies. Everyone said multiple times it's the best Sunday dinner in a pub they've ever had. Cooked to perfection and very generous. The pork and pheasant pie was also so delicious! Thank you Kings Head pub!
The beer at The Kings Head is always fantastic. There is always a selection of different style on tap to cater for all tastes. We have never found the wines or spirits lacking, but we normally come for the beer! The food is excellent and great value you for money, the Sunday lunches are a must - just make sure you book! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, polite and professional. The service is always better than could ask for. All in all I cannot recommend this little gem of Stamford enough. A cold beer in their little outdoors area in the summer is a highlight of the year!
Really good food at seriously reasonable prices. Lots of different kinds of beers including a few craft ales. Staff really friendly and it's very dog friendly which is always a plus!
Lovely cozy little pub.. we had a lovely Sunday roast.. must say it was one of the best we've ever had. Cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. And dog friendly would highly recommend..
