We stopped here for a quick lunch during the pandemic. The inside of the pub looked cozy and inviting but we ate on one of the twelve available garden tables. There is a fairly short menu of pub basics. The chips were quite good, but chicken goujons seemed a little overdone. What earns it a fourth star is being dog friendly and the amazing floral display of hanging baskets out front. The staff and landlord were very nice and welcoming.

Lovely staff, good beer... But would definitely not recommend the food!!! Food served in paper boxes like a burger van no cutlery and no napkins! From someone that works in a pub/restaurant industry we can oppreciate that these are difficult times but we feel they would have been better off with advertising bar snacks such a chips etc... Or nothing at all if served at this standard!..
Reasonable prices and food was ok. Looked really nice inside (we ate in the garden). Service was a bit icy hence 3 not 4 stars. I probably would go again.
Lovely garden to sit in and enjoy delicious bar snacks at lunchtime. Safe environment so I would recommend a visit here.
Great old PROPER pub. Good food and ales, will be a regular stop off for us now when ever we visit Wareham
