Great pub, a great pint of Guinness, a very clean and friendly pub.
Good independent pub. Service with a big smile (and good beer/ale). Mixed happy crowd and historical conservatory with small beer garden view.
What a great find !! First impressions were that it wouldn't be our sort of pub as we walked in from the canal boat. It was Sunday evening and we wanted feeding . However the staff were very friendly and went put of their way to cook even though they had just finished . The food was excellent and home cooked . The real ale was spot on and a good variety. To cap it all the prices were low. What a great find . Don't underestimate this pub ! .
