I can’t provide Six Stars unfortunately but this is a terrific restaurant and desires all the plaudits possible. Beautiful food, regular new dishes appearing to enhance an already first class offering of fine food. If I was Michelin I would be paying a visit..... there is little to compare within a large radius. So if you are local or just travelling through, find the time to taste what good food with a smile can be provided by a young energetic couple. You will not be disappointed. Just had Christmas lunch today. Excellent from start to finish. I can’t speak too highly of this restaurant. Hard working, skilled couple with a young team who deserve all the plaudits they get.

It's a lovely old pub setting but the food is lovely!! I had seared scallops with an apple and pancetta topping and it was cooked beautifully!! My wife had wood pigeon and again it was cooked beautifully I can't say enough. Try this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.
The kings arms Fantastic welcome and seated immediately by a very friendly and professional young man. Great selection from no less than three menus and the food was cooked from scratch (pie for me) and tasted tremendous. The misses agrees as her steak was cooked to perfection. Easy to find and a good sized on site car park Will definitely return and highly recommend
The head chef is a gem of a man.....the food is excellent go quickly as the deals currently on offer can't last forever.
