Great atmosphere in this pub, owners and staff are aways very friendly. They have worked really hard to keep both staff and customers safe in these difficult times. Always a lovely cold clean pint, and the food amazing. Well worth a visit.

Sunday lunch: nice food, decent price, friendly staff, what's not to like!
Great little pub with fantastic food. We fancied a meal out tonight but being a spur of the moment thing we hadn't booked anywhere, and with Eat Out to Help Out doing so well a lot of our usual haunts were already fully booked. We called around some of the places we have been meaning to try, and the King William was able to book us in, as simple as that. We knew where it was, but hadn't been before, so we knew the car park was close by. Entering the pub it is a typical English Public House; cozy, homely, with the smells of food wafting through the bar and lounge. Despite a few looks of \who are these two people?\ when we walked in, the pub was friendly, with the chit-chat noises of friends as a backdrop. The food was excellent, with good portions - so much so that neither of us finished our meals nor considered a dessert! Good simple food done well, which i always think is the hallmark of a kitchen that knows what it is doing, and aims to please. The menu has plenty of the pub favourites, a kids menu, and lighter bites for smaller appetites. It may have been our first visit but I am sure it won't be our last!
We were made extremely welcome, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Our night here made our stay in Glastonbury. We paid dearly for it the next morning though!
Lovely pub! Just been for food with the family after work and it was fantastic! Will definately be visiting again!
