This statue is situated next to public gardens with toilets where there is also an amazing children's playground with legendry sand play/Castle. It is hard to get a good photo of the statue hea Don but there is a tourist info and art gallery about 20 paces away to buy a post card. This is about a 2 minute walk from the main bus station.

When we Visit a place like this on a day out like we did,you have to see as much as you can.You walk from the main shopping area we were on our way to see the amazing City Mill you can’t but notice this magnificent statue of one of our Kings long gone,which stands proudly in the centre of the road of this beautiful City which is steeped in history.If you haven’t been it’s a great place to look around,with lots to see and do.With the beautiful Cathedral,lovely little Museum,pretty parks and plenty of shops,cafes and restaurants to choose from.Enjoy
