Good bits : Lovely place to look for fossils embedded in big rocks. Stunning scenery. Off the beaten track. Great fun climbing over the rocks. The view from the end of the rocks to the right is fantastic. Bad bits: There are no toilet facilities that we could find. The footpath to the beach is rather treacherous, so if you’re not good on your feet or don’t have decent grip on your shoes you may be in trouble. (Wear walking boots)

Glorious! Natural stone causeway, very shallow bay, perfect for children to paddle. Doesn't go above an adults waist for at least 100 metres. A lot of seaweed, perfect for crabbing! Great for paddle/SUP boards, kayaks, etc. 10 min walk down steep steps so bear in mind what you're carrying!

Toilets (you may have guessed by my other reviews) are very important to me. Not because I have IBS or chron's disease but that on a day trip, every member of the family will need it at some point - fact. We arrived, parked up and headed down to the main beach. Suddenly the boy needed the toilet and had to ask where these were - they were on the other side of the bay, near the boat ramp and was easily a 15min walk to get there. It's just not practical to provide toilets this far away nor provide signage but charge people to go there. It's a nice sand beach, crabbing is superb here and very scenic but lack of facilities let's it down tremendously.

The trip down to the beach from the car park is via steps (not small steps either) and a narrow path that, when it's raining or been raining can be slippery and muddy (so dont wear your favourite white trainers!!) Once at the bay, the views are wonderful. We turned right and followed the bay. Whilst the tide is out, take care! The large flat areas of rock are slippery at low tide! Once further round, the rocks get larger, and seem less slippery. No collecting fossils from here in afraid! They prefer you to look and leave for others to see. So leave your fossil collecting hammer at home when visiting here. We paid 5 for the car park (02/01/2021) they just took card payments when we visited (covid precautions im guessing) there's no toilets, no coffee shop or gift shop. It's a field for a car park. That said, you're here for the views. And they don't disappoint. Take a picnic and a drink. Leave nothing but footprints..... when the weather is rough, it's stunning. When it's sunny...... it's stunning. Get the point..... enjoy
