Lovely location, this old Templar site is not big but if you are heading down to the beach it's worth a wee stop on the way

Well kept for such an out of the way place. Good to see the graves are looked after. We used the ruin for a photo shoot, its worth a look if you're that way.

Amazing and Beautiful place. Not known that much I believe. But, must visit place if you are going to Carlingford. Hardly 10-15 mins drive from the main Road. The place to damn too photogenic with the Old Church remains, Greenish outside and the Background Mountains... Loved it...

First Templars Church in Louth built on this site in the 12/13th Century. Hence the local townland now called Templetown.

Surrounded by fields with a clear view of the distant mountains, this old but still well tended graveyard with church ruin has all the signs of a place of peaceful slumber - long may out last. I suspect the name is a direct translation of 'Cill Mhaire'.
