New self service system is poor as mixed with queue of people for click and collect and returns. Need to get a server to get you a bag so what's the point in self service

Decent shop with large selection of men, women’s and kids clothes at ok prices, aswell as a homewares section. Also a dpd pick up point . Large external car park so is fine when it gets busy.

The Kilmarnock branch of Matalan is nestled in a small industrial estate on the way out of town towards Ayr. Thank goodness for services like Google Maps, or I suspect far fewer people would find it. It's some way from the centre of town, so if you're walking, leave a good twenty minutes or so. In terms of style, I personally find Matalan a little hit and miss, but the store is always well stocked and the clothes represent good value for money. It's a good size of store, so there's plenty of choice in each department. I have always found the members of staff to be friendly, helpful, and polite. There's plenty of parking here all on the level, just watch out for the designated entry and exit gates.

Ordered black trousers on line and had them delivered to the store. Great quality and perfect size, especially as it's not always easy to find my plus size. Staff were so helpful and polite.

Nice big shop. Well laid out. Toilet which is great. Just location is only fault at Edge of town where there are no there shops
