We booked the Santa's Grotto for our 2 children and it was absolutley brilliant! It's been the first bit of normality for us as a family in a long time. My children were made to feel very special and enjoyed the whole experience. All staff there were amazing and very helpful. Merry Christmas Kidz About!

Kidz About is a pretty good soft play, it's large, with a lot to do for all ages. The toddler area is big, bigger than most soft plays, and they have an area just for toy cars and ride-on vehicles, which was a big hit with my 2 year old. There's also an inflatable area, bigger than just a bouncy castle, with obstacles to climb over. The older kids seemed to love this. As other reviewers have said, the food offering is basic, and the coffee and cake are nothing to write home about, but they do exist at the price you'd expect to pay when you're a captive audience. As an example, a slice of caramel shortbread was 2.50, on par with a coffee shop. The seating area is huge, and there are both tables and sofas, most seats give you a good view of the play areas so remote supervision is easier than I've seen it in most places. On the downside, parking is pretty limited, especially if it gets very busy, though it was fine when I went, at a quieter time. Cleanliness is good, and thankfully, they don't have one of those pits of scum and disease otherwise known as a ball pool, so I'm hoping that the child illness that usually follows soft play might be kept at bay this time! In summary, not the cheapest soft play in the world, but it by no means breaks the bank with excellent facilities. If it wanted my custom more often it would need to improve its coffee facilities and it's cake selection!
Both my children love it here they are toddlers and really enjoy the smaller children play area. Always clean and well maintained. Food and coffee is great too! Staff are always friendly and happy to help.
Fabulous for the kids to let off steam, meet up with friends and kids parties, good coffee & food.
