One of my most favourite Bak Kut Teh. If you are heading toward mersing, this is one of the pit stop that you wouldn't want to miss out.

Good Bak Kut Teh, nice & thick soup compare to most Bak Kut Teh in Johor. Many local & Singaporean travel far just to eat their Bak Kut Teh. Besides soup, their pork tender is my super recommended, the pork ribs also juicy. Even their drinks Chinese Tea Pot also taste good (Not simply cheap tea type). Suggest to go in the early morning, less crowded.

We ordered bak kut teh for three people, with tau pok, you char kway and pickled vegetables on the side. The robust meaty flavour of the soup was balanced by mellow herbal notes. The soup was served with generous chunks of meat on the bone that were satisfying but not jelak. All in all it was a superb mid-day meal for hard-working labourers.

The pork is on the dryer side. Soup is not bad. Not too thick. Go for the ribs and kidneys and livers. The pork trotter is not that nice, likely the sweetish flavouring.

Pros: 1) Design of the hut(interior) is satisfactory. 2) It's open from 7.30a.m. Be sure to come as early as possible for the enjoyment combination of hot food and cool temperature weather. 3) Service is fairly well, pretty swift. 4) Unlimited refill of hot water if you order by teapot. 5) The pricing is pretty decent too. 6) The shop chef cook the Bah Kut Teh via claypot with charcoal flames. Looks Traditional, doesn't it? 7) Food taste just as better than most Bah Kut Teh that you've tried, that is if you have a famished stomach too. Food taste delicious and smells just like the same as any Bah Kut Teh out there. Cons: 1) Beside roadside, can get dusty or smoky sometimes. 2) Can be crowded at times especially Saturday and Sunday. 3) A distance to cover to be able to reached your destination from any significant starting point. Overall Rating: 4.7 ;) P.S They normally closed on Monday and Tuesday. There's more Pros than Cons, why not give it a try and rate the food yourself as well? the

This is really the best bak kut teh I have ever tried, hokkien herbal style, the pork ribs soup has lots of herbs but not to the extend of bitter. Each pot is filled with lots of ingredients, really value for money

Supposed to be one of the best in the region. The service was friendly and efficient - our food arrived in less than 5 minutes. The pork innards soup was delicious, but the pork ribs were a little too hard to chew. Overall above average.

Regarded as one of the best bak kut teh in Johor Bahru. The shop always full house before opening hour on weekends (7am) as everyone trying to beat the crowd. The bak kut teh is aromatic, freshly cooked with open kitchen concept, and generous portion.
