Ingersoll mine produced a few minerals. Feldspar, tantalum, and beryl, mica, quartz. The mine had investors that tried to re-work the tailing piles in 1981. This was a short lived attempt. I worked there in 1981 for 5.50hr. I’m sad to see the old building falling apart again, but happy to be part of the Ingersoll Mine history.

Don’t damage this treasure! It is an extremely fun place with multiple mine shafts to explore! The building is falling apart, so be careful!!
Not sure who owns this property but there are no trespassing signs and signs for cameras on the premises. It is really a shame that people have trashed this abandoned mine, as we went there to explore the history of the area, learn about what was mined there, and have a great time exploring. I think if people would just not leave trash and graffiti all over everything, there probably wouldn’t be restrictions here. We did not go inside because it is obviously unstable, still cool to see it either way
Cool hike up to the mine. A couple old mines to explore. Too bad some people disrespect the area with graffiti and trash.
Cool abandoned mineral mine.
