If you're in the mood for good vibes, great tasting shared style cuisine, fun drinks, and a live DJ all on a open air roof top ... Kettner is your place! Top tip - for a sundown experience, make a reservation between 5pm and 6pm. You'll be able to experience the roof top as the day turns from day to night. Valet is 10.00. Trust me, don't waste 30 minutes looking for parking 5 blocks away. The parking company is fantastic and friendly.

What an absolutely wonderful meal we had there! The food was superb, the service friendly, thoughtful, competent and efficient, the atmosphere delightful. We particularly want to commend Kettner Exchange for creating such an inviting, comfortable outdoor dining room, filled with plants and umbrellas, with appropriately socially-distanced spacing. Everyone arrived wearing masks and donned them whenever leaving their tables. And of course the staff wore masks and gloves. We opted to share a number of small plates rather than order entrees. What a good decision, because we were able to sample more of Chef Brian's outstanding cuisine! We'd definitely recommend that option. Everything was so delicious we didn't have a favorite: the spicy tuna atop crispy rice, the heirloom tomatoes topping a burrata-spread croustade, the Two Forks Farm shishito peppers with bonito flakes, the marinated salmon, the spicy shrimp and royal red shrimp garlic noodles. I can still taste their layered, complex flavors. This is a great place for a celebration (it was our anniversary) or simply a low-key meal with interesting, delicious food. Definitely recommend -- and we'll be back!

Pro tip: make a reservation online in advance. This was my first time going here to have a bite. I still got my go-to drink - Dirty Verde. Yum! Seated right away with res. Moved us when there was an extremely loud table next to us. Great server. Very attentive and patient. We opted for only vegetarian and pescatarian options - watermelon poke was amazing! Hot oil salmon, octopus, & tuna fried rice were all great! Not to mention the chocolate molten lava cake with chocolate ice cream.
