Lovely club. Friendly staff. Good beer. New food menu. Committee members too old and stale in ideas. Need to enter 20th century guys. Be a good time. Shame if it closes down because it's not promoted properly. Steward finally got the boot - thankfully. Club still closed as of August 2020. Heard it's due to reopen but unless and until they get a decent committee place will be dreary. Better yet sack the committee too

Went there for a steak meal. Thursday is steak night. Usual cavernous C.C. Young staff were efficient and polite. Steak was above average in flavour and tenderness although sent mine back due to being served on a cold plate. No problem.

My mate went here and he is now very sad. Only come here if your looking for depression not a good night. I would rate it lower then 1 star but that isn't an option.
