After years of fishing in the Lakes, it was time to introduce my two and a half year old Son to my favourite past time. Rob was so very helpful and had his first little whip rod ready for collection all set up. My Son loved the experience of going in to Youdales and will now be a regular little customer for all his tackle. Thanks Rob, you made both mine and my Sons camping adventure complete when he caught his first little crucian carp! All the best, see you on the next round

I was looking for a shop where I could buy a couple of fridge magnets for a family member who collects them. I was in a bit of a panic as the two other shops I had planned to buy these items where closed and I only had an hour or so before my train home. I noticed some magnets through the window of this shop and decided to pop in to see what I could purchase. Within a few seconds of being in the shop I was snarled at, for not having my mask on, which I had forgotted in my panicked state. Had I have not been in such a rush I would have turned round and walked out, taking my custom elsewhere. I could have been exempt from wearing a mask. A quaint small business shop spoilt by an abrupt owner who clearly doesn't know how to speak to customers. Judging by the reviews I wasn't the only one.

This shop is run by a NASTY vile man! He told my young daughter to 'get out' of his shop as she wasn't wearing a face mask - despite the rest of our party all wearing them. When she said she is exempt as she us under 10 he said 'I don't care - get out!' We all left and went round the corner spending almost 100 on maps and other equipment we needed. Shop at one of the many other lovely shops in Keswick!!
