Worst experience of my life. Mike was late the day he was to remove my dock. He removed a portion of the dock, which was purchased from Dock in a Box. The dock cost me 28,000. I had to leave the cottage due to another obligation and was given assurances that the dock would be out, if not all, then within a day or two. I paid him a cheque for 450, we shook hands and I left. Then excuses came. Follow up phone calls from Mike only came after phoning and phoning. 3 weeks later, and many promises later, most of my dock is still sitting in the water. I may not be able to find someone to remove my dock as the season moves into winter conditions, and even accessibility to my cottage becomes a problem. This installer was recommended by Dock in a Box. They do this to absolve themselves of responsibility I suppose. After telling Mike, of R & R Services that if my dock is ruined because I can’t find anyone to take the dock out that I will have to go after him through Small Claims court. He said he will simply send my cheque back and the court can’t say anything. He has cashed the cheque and removed part of the dock, saying that it’s my problem now. J Hess Newmarket
