Great climbing, good food and helpful and friendly staff. But do wrap up warm in these covid times particularly if you are only supervising rather than climbing. The mountain scene that can been spotted on one of the website pictures isn't a picture on the wall but the actual mountain outside where a section of wall has been opened to provide excellent ventilation!

Popped in for a climb this afternoon. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The facility is fairly small but very well laid out and there was plenty of space to spread out and a decent number of routes spanning a wide range of difficulty levels without any awkward gaps in grade. Do bring warm clothes, as the building opens at the front so it can be a little cool. There was a group of kids in at the same time as us and the instructor was great with them, really patient and encouraging. They sounded like they were having a great time in the background while we climbed. Apart from the wall, there's lots of activities around for the kids, including what appeared to be an abseil wall, some archery and an outdoor play area. There's also a cafe inside.

The kids (13 and 15) did the high ropes with instructor Sam. The high ropes course is a 5-10 minute walk away from the centre, but well laid out and a good introductory course to learn the different techniques etc. At the centre itself there are indoor climbing walls, archery, an outside obstacle course and a big zip wire. Good way to while away a morning or an afternoon with the kids

We had a 2 hour session with Jack, who made it fun and exciting with constant challenges. He was very knowledgeable and safe. Would definitely recommend. The cafe also did nice food (especially the locally sourced ice cream).
