Worst final mile shipping company ever. Do not use. The drivers are careless and lazy, the supervisors can not be bothered. I have never known a freight company whose drivers refuse to actualy make a delivery. If you want your deliveries to make it to you in one piece, make it on time, or just to be made at all then I highly suggest you use your 10 year old neighbor kid because the job will be done in a much more professional manner.

I think Ikea needs a new delivery company. From a customer service stand point great, but delivery wise horrible. They cancelled our delivery last minute day of delivery and then never followed up with our company I had to call them. Then I was told multiple times that our shipment was not put on a \priority\ truck leaving us at the mercy of when they could find a truck with space that delivers in our area (Seattle).
Horrible - Never hire this company. Wish there were a negative star. Hire anyone to help you before hiring Dynamex. The best part is IKEA will then tell you complain to the contractor - Dynamex. Dynamex delivered my 2 sofa 6 days late and then told me \...it's just how it is\.
I experienced the same issues that other recent reviewers have had regarding Ikea delivery. The woman I spoke with on the phone was polite when I called. She informed me (on the day of my scheduled delivery, after not having heard from them the day prior) that my delivery would be pushed back one week. I paid Ikea 120 to use this shipping method and am by proxy a customer of Dynamex - at the very least, they should let customers know before the day of that their shipments are not actually on the way.
Horrible company to work with, They have a 'local' number, but when you call it -- it's their national headquarters. When you e-mail them, you get no response. They TELL you when they will deliver instead of figuring out if you are a university -- you MAY BE CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND. Sheesh! Then, they say they will call you 'the night before' to give you the 4-hour window of delivery. Again, closed on the weekend. NOT business friendly. IKEA -- YOU CAN'T FIND A MORE REPUTABLE DELIVERY SERVICE?
