We always drive to Wroxham for chips from Kens. We really enjoy them. I once had a veggie burger there but it had a reheated frozen stale taste about it so haven't got another one since. Also the last time I went, the girl seemed a bit mardy when I asked for extra salt and vinegar, she put some more on but was reluctant in doing so and gave me a strange look. In general the staff are fine and quite friendly but that day the girl had a right strop on her.

Couldn't fault the service or quality of the cod and chips that we had , we sat outside at the back of the restaurant overlooking the river . Excellent

Decent food, after lock down obviously must wear mask as only small shop, numbered ticket system and seemed to take very long time to produce the fish and chips but will say, lovely and hot, unlike a lot of take away places usually almost cold once travelled home, very surprised ,meal still very hot, well wrapped food and very friendly staff. Very pleased to see no mask,no food. Well done guys and gals

Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to try the fish and chips here, we were on holiday from Edinburgh we had Scottish money with us legal uk tender. We ordered our food went to pay in cash with our Scottish bank notes and they were refused, we were told we haven’t seen Scottish money before, we then got asked to pay with our card, at this point other diners were watching and listening in to our conversation which was extremely embarrassing. We refused as a matter of principle to pay by card due to the downright ignorance of the two workers. We left went elsewhere for lunch used our Scottish notes with no problems and my husband had an ice cream at a little pop up ice cream shop with no problem using our legal Scottish money. So motto of the story keep clear of Ken’s fish restaurant if you happen to have anything but English bank notes

Updated post 22.04.20 As an NHS Volunteer, I’m fully aware of the risks this pandemic poses, hence this post. Such a shame you won’t listen to or action constructive feedback which would minimise the risks to your customers. The very fact you feel the need to criticise my intellect says more about you than you’ll ever understand. I can assure you that you had some very irate customers that night outside your shop – I was out there in the cold listening to them - if you were to listen to your customers, then you’d realise this. You say you warned your customers about the long wait, well I can assure you I wasn’t warned about this, and if had been told, I’d have gone over the road to Greys. Post from 20.04.20 Even though I phoned up to pre-order 2 fish n chips & pre-paid, and was given a time to collect (1 hr from phoning) i still had to wait at least 1/2hr outside the shop... the whole point of pre-ordering is to avoid standing beside the dozen other unhappy customers outside the shop for 1/2hr with the current risks. Suggest you be more realistic with your collection times to reduce the risks to your customers. These are very serious times and whilst I want to support local businesses during these hard times, I’m not prepared to risk my health. Also one of the 2 medium fish portions was tiny (smaller than the palm of my hand)
