Mr. Chuck came to inspect and clean our chimney since we just moved in. He warned us that we may need to start with a small fire based on some issues he inspected (and warned us about but we are on a tighter budget so he said it was safe to try and to call him back if we had trouble). Well, when we tried it, we filled our house with smoke. So we called Mr. Chuck again and he came straight over. Turns out our novice selves had the flue closed (insert embarrassment here!). BUT Mr. Chuck stayed, built a fire, showed us how to successfully AND safely have an indoor fire. He's coming back next week to do a small improvement to the inside of the fireplace, but he never tried to up-sale us on any improvements that weren't necessary. I'm grateful to have someone to call when things don't go as planned. We will always use Atlanta Chimney Doctor (Mr. Chuck) for our fireplace needs in the future.
