After a total disaster with alterations at a previous bridal shop i found gemma. Even now a year later i still cant thank her enough...as a larger bride it was hard enough to feel like a princess but she really made it happen. She was cool calm and reassuring and for once in the whole 8 months i had the deess i felt amazing.. she really can work miracles and i can't stress enough how much she helped...sometimes someone's words can make or break a choice and gemma helped me fall back in love with my perfect dress. Gemma has been amazing throughout my journey. Dropped my dress off back in march 2020 for alterations for my scheduled wedding in may, only to be in a national lockdown due to the covid pandemic the next week...I was gutted to say the least and Gemma made it her mission to keep working on my dress (and lots others) in that time! Went back in September 2020 to retry getting alterations for another date in December, only to be in tier 3 (with travel restrictions!) from 2nd December. Gemma is totally on the ball with keeping me up to date with when we can reschedule appointments. Top lass and BRILLIANT service!!
This year I had my wedding dress fitted with Gemma and I can’t thank Gemma and her team enough for the quality of service that they provided. Went in to have some stitching in a pair of expensive walking shorts strengthened . They quoted me 15 (7.50 per side). Went to Sewarty and they did the job for 4.50 and they are still going strong
