An absolutely beautiful place, I highly recommend a visit. The castle was closed on the day we visited but we spent a few hours in the gardens which are stunning and accessible to everyone. Save some time to pop into the cafe where the food and service are fabulous and theb pop next door tob the excellent gift shop which has something for everyone.

Visited when the covid 19 restrictions were in place, so the house was closed. However the grounds to the place are lovely and so nice to walk through. Paths make it easy with a pram and the gardens/flowers were just stunning. Plenty of parking and a gift shop and cafe on site. A great place to visit and would recommend it.
The gardens are still lovely with flowers in the spring walk,swans on the mirror lake and beautiful walks. The cafe and shop were open and we enjoyed a delicious hot pasty. We'll be back after lockdown to see the amazing spring flowers.
Lovely walk round the gardens, very well kept and clean. A few more directions and clearer signage wouldn't go amiss. All plants very well labelled and in excellent condition.
The gardens were lovely. Cafe very accommodating. Could do with a wider selection though. The jacket potato was very nice. Staff at reception were very helpful with regards to my Mum's mobility issues. Thank you to all concerned. Booking as a member of the national trust was easy to. Thank you to the team at Sizerg castle.
