Ken Stewart's Grille

This was our first try at the grill. We have been to the lodge on multiple occasions and always had great experiences. The grill was simply amazing. We sat on the patio on a cold winter night, the wind chill was 14 degrees. It was snowing and miserable outside, but warm and toasty on the inside, thanks to 2 beautiful fire pits and excellent tube heaters. Our waitress, Ryan, was spectacular. She had a great personality and took care of us from start to finish with a smile. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. We were never left waiting for anything. The food was great, everything was prepared perfectly. My king crab legs were delicious. And my wife, son and daughter-in-law all enjoyed their meals. I think it takes a lot of hard work to bring the atmosphere, superb food and great service together for a fine dining experience. The value for the experience was reasonable, nothing is overpriced! The best part of the night was when Ken Stewart waved to us on our way out! Thanks for a great evening!

Awesome food and great service. Definitely overpriced by about 20%. We came here late afternoon on a Saturday. I got one pound of the Alaskan King Crab (the picture doesn’t do justice... this thing was HUGE!). The other meal ordered was a special: lamb, bacon wrapped filet, and shrimp. We both loved our food. The salad that came with the food was also great. It was a really light kinda sweet salad. Service was great 9/10. Would be a great spot for special occasions.

Great food - disappointing customer experience. We ordered two orders of more than 350 of food and wine for takeout. The meals were fantastic and were even high quality after takeout and plated at home. For the customer experience, the two separate orders - one was a gift for someone else - the orders were bagged and mixed and we were told we would have to sort them out ourselves, even after explaining they were ordered separately, paid separately, and for different parties. No help granted - left to do it ourselves in the cold parking lot. When choosing wine, a bit odd in being made to feel like we should know exactly what we want and asking questions was a burden.

Can't say enough about this place! From the staff to the food and the decor, everything was great. Over the top pictures placed throughout gave it a one of a kind look. I wasn't expecting the picture of a cartoon like cowboy to look at while I ate but I liked the different view. The food was cooked to perfection from the lobster deviled eggs and stuffed peppers to the lobster roll with drawn butter. I was too full to try a dessert but my table mates said what they got was delicious! Would definitely go back again and again to get other things on the menu!

I had dinner here frequently when I lived in Ohio. Since then, I’ve been to great restaurants in the Middle East and Europe.... and I’m still daydreaming about the filet trio I’ve had here. I would pay the chef to teach me how to make the sauces! As my friend says: I’ve never had a bad meal at Ken Stewart’s. And he’s right. Great restaurant, delicious food and exquisite service.
