A fantastic little fish and chip shop, the food is great and the prices are too, the gentlemen that owns and runs the place is always happy to see people and have a chat. Proper food, proper prices, proper customer service, Defenetly Check it out if your passing.

Absolutely can't understand why there are so many bad reviews here?! I can guarantee 100% they're just from people who don't know what they're talking about! Best fish and chip shop in Brighton and the fact they've survived for 30 years is testament to the fact they are a Brighton and Hove institution! Fish and chips made with FRESH fish and real potatoes, sold cheaper than almost every other fish and chip shop in Brighton - all of which use frozen fish - it's just a new brainer! Tasty. Cheap. Friendly service. Perfect!

I don't normally write reviews but given the hardships small local businesses are going through now, I had to do whatever I can to keep this Brighton institution going strong, even though it shouldn't need the help! I live and work nearby but even if I didn't, I'd still only frequent this chippy - best fish and chips in Sussex! Fast, friendly, fresh, portions good, and the prices are great considering the quality of the food - not sure there's anywhere else in Brighton that uses fresh fish and hand cut chips, and especially not for these prices!! Everyone needs to make this place their local, even if you aren't exactly local. Trust me it's worth it!

Good old style chippy! An institution in the area. Chirpy chap on the fryer; the owner. He's been there for years! Support your local (he takes cash, and now card). Very safe Covid measures in place
