Absolutely wonderful place. All the staff and volunteers are extremely helpful and you can tell they love what they do. It's wonderful to see all of these animals getting a new lease on life after living in horrible conditions. The walk is pleasant and the animals have plenty of room to either be seen or not; they are in total control of their privacy. It's a beautiful thing.

Went here on a warm day in February. It was still pretty windy and this area tends to be so keep that in mind if you visit. It is very cool and very worth it once you get past the first little bit. I strongly recommend that you bring binoculars though, as many of the animals can be pretty far away.

One of the best days of my life!! I stopped here on my way back to Chicago from Boulder. Everything about this place was amazing! From the unique animal sculptures to real, unique animals like a Liger. To see these beautiful animals living in such a pristine sanctuary is heartwarming... especially knowing that most were saved from horrible situations. Thank you for creating this safe haven, I'm honored to have visited. Look forward to returning in 2021!

This place is amazing! This was my first visit to the sanctuary and I was met with a wonderful staff as well as a very unique and beautiful experience with nature. I got there later in the afternoon (4:30 ish) which I highly recommend! The weather was perfect and as I walked the path I was able to see a beautiful sunset too! The land itself is beautiful and the animals are all being given a second chance at life. It's truly wonderful to see the space they are given as well as the new friends and loved ones they have now. :) Every visit helps to give these animals a chance at happiness. Such a great cause! Great for all ages, too. I loved the intro video they have you watch before you start. It's so informative and teaches everyone the need for places like these and how you can help make a difference!

We love the Sanctuary. This is not a zoo so don't anticipate seeing animals up close. Their focus on animal well-being means animals are not disturbed by humans during the visit. You walk on an elevated walkway and get a bird's-eye view of tigers, lions, bears, and wolves. There are a few shaded areas along the walk but a hat and water is recommended. Be sure to say hi to the volunteers along the walkway and ask them your questions. They are always excited to talk with the visitors.
